No cost. No experience necessary.

Hi there! I'm Katrina Bos. I've been loving, practising, and teaching Kundalini yoga for almost 20 years. This is a classic, healing meditation from the kundalini yoga tradition.
This meditation specifically resonates in our heart, our connection to something bigger, and how we fit into that infinite space.
There is a magic that happens when we do a meditation or kriya for 40 days. So, I love inviting others to join me for a regular practice like this. It helps us all show up each day and feel the amazing effects!
So, I would love for you to join me... obviously for your own personal journey... but also for me. 😉
I created this video for Insight Timer as an introduction to the practice. I talk about how it works, what the mantra means, and then lead a 5-minute practice.
This meditation uses sacred seed sounds that resonate throughout the body - but specifically in the heart centre.
The Ahhh sound calms the whole body as we chant it. Wayne Dyer considered this a sacred sound because it was in so many names for the Divine around the world (God, Allah, Yahweh, Buddha, Krishna, Brahma, Ra).
The sounds of Ra, Ma, Da, and Sa bring together the sun/masculine with the moon/feminine, Earth/physical, and Infinity/Spirit. Sa Say So Hung merge our consciousness with all that is.
You can practise this for 3, 5, 11, or up to 31 minutes a day.
Healing our minds, soothing our bodies, and expanding our consciousness.
A mantra is not a mere set of sounds;
it is a thought form imbued with spiritual power.
When properly repeated, it awakens the
dormant divinity within you.
Swami Sivananda
This practice is traditionally used to soothe emotional overwhelm and bring the nervous system back to center.
Ra Ma Da Sa is classically used as a distance-healing prayer, sending steady energy to yourself or someone you love who's struggling.
40 days of the same short practice build a rhythm you can return to, especially valuable during a stressful or transitional season.
The mantra moves through sun, moon, earth, and infinity, harmonizing active and receptive energy in the body
Many describe a quiet sense of being held by something larger, especially when practiced in a group.
There is something different about practicing alongside others. You are held, even on the days you barely show up.
Empowering Your Voice
One of the most expansive aspects of this meditation is the chanting itself.
To allow our voice to be heard.
To let our essence resonate.
To hear and love the sound of who we are.
The ripple effects of opening our 5th chakra are endless...
And so wonderful.
No prior experience with Kundalini yoga is needed. If you've done hatha yoga or sat in meditation before, wonderful. And if all of this is brand new to you, no problem. This is an easy meditation for everyone to do.
